Placing units on soft, low ground
This is the lowest, dampest ground in the valley, sitting below sea level behind the levees, so soft and saturated soil is the main challenge. We choose firm pads, paved aprons, or gravel where we can, and in the wet season we avoid low spots that pond, so a unit stays level and the truck does not get stuck.
Out by the sloughs and the wildlife refuge, we keep units on solid ground at the trailheads and launches, clear of the marsh edge and the tidal flats. For events on refuge or public land, confirm placement with the managing agency and ask whether an encroachment permit applies before the date.

Call with the yard or site address, the dates, and a crew or crowd size, and we will size the order, factor in the ground and the tides, and set a delivery window. Most Alviso drops arrive the next business day once we have the access details.
Units come clean and stocked, and for a levee or marina project that runs long we set a service rotation to pump, restock, and clean each one on schedule. When the work or the event wraps, we return and haul everything out.
